Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Rotating shift between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, schedule subject to change
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* No call requirements
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* Required to work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
* Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* Produce diagnostic mammograms and assist radiologists and referring physicians in mammographic procedures
* Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care for adult and geriatric patients
* Must be proficient in the use of mammography equipment and hospital/department computer systems
* 2 years of Mammography Tech experience required
* Prior travel experience required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Required licenses: ARRT and Nevada State License

Facility:

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced outpatient imaging center serving a 500-mile radius. The organization operates as a Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient beds, and 80 emergency room beds, functioning at the volume and pace of a Level I trauma center. The facility offers a comprehensive range of advanced services including the region's only children's hospital, a robotic surgery institute, neurosciences care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services.
