Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts required
* Every other weekend requirement
* Call is required and rotated separately among CVOR RNs
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Holiday shifts required
* First to float, with floating limited to other OR specialties only
* 2 circulators per case with approximately 2 cases per week in a single suite
* Common case types include straight forward CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy
* EMR system: Cerner and Surginet
* Scrubs are provided
* Scrubbing not required but preferred
* BSN not required
* Orientation is approximately one week or until comfortable
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

This acute care facility features a dedicated cardiovascular operating room suite supported by an experienced surgical team. The facility utilizes Cerner and Surginet for electronic medical records and provides scrubs to its clinical staff. The organization maintains a structured on-call rotation system and supports a collaborative environment with charge nurses managing daily assignments and staffing coordination.
