Open Position: RAD Tech - Sonographer

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - Ultrasound Tech (729)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
* Perform abdomen and pelvic ultrasounds as well as lower extremity duplex studies including venous and arterial
* Work with GE and Phillips ultrasound equipment
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Expect a variable workload of approximately 8 to 15 scans per 12-hour shift
* On-call schedule required: Saturdays only from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a Q6 weeks rotation
* Work independently and autonomously with confident communication skills with RN and MD staff
* Minimum 6 months of current Sonographer experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS, and RVT
* Active Colorado licensure required
* Neonatal head experience preferred
* Position is located on the 1st floor of the main building

This facility is a 422-bed hospital offering a full-service ultrasound department staffed by experienced sonographers. The unit maintains a relaxed, family-like atmosphere and provides access to modern imaging technology. The ultrasound department operates with a small, collaborative team and supports a variable patient workload across both day and night shifts.
