Job Details:

* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required - no exceptions; no other license type will be accepted
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:15 with day ratios of 1:7 and weekend ratios of 1:20
* Some weekends required as needed
* No on-call required
* Position may float between units
* Block schedules not required
* Orientation hours: 80
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Scrub color: Business casual attire required for this role
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work with behavioral health patients across various hospital units, including the Emergency Department
* Perform biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and discharge planning
* Conduct 5150/involuntary holds, advance directives, and case management
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Support patients with navigating community resources including social security, housing, food stamps, and child/adult protective services
* Provide individual counseling and patient/family education, support, and advocacy
* Document care delivery, treatment plans, goals, and patient responses according to plan of care
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This short-term acute care facility operates 108 total staff beds and maintains a daily census of approximately 100 patients. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
