RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work in a 20-bed emergency room unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
* Every other weekend scheduling required
* No floating policy in place
* Perform advanced procedures including chest tubes, central lines, and other Level Three Trauma procedures
* Utilize Meditech documentation system
* Unit staffed with unit secretaries and paramedic reception support
* Priority placed on excellent bedside manner and patient experience
* Black scrubs required as dress code
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
* TNCC certification required at minimum
* Level Three Trauma experience required

This facility is a Level Three Trauma center equipped with all necessary equipment to handle a wide range of emergency medical situations. The emergency department operates with a strong focus on patient experience and bedside manner, supported by a dedicated team including unit secretaries and paramedic reception staff. The unit maintains a structured scheduling and floating policy to ensure consistency and stability for both staff and patients.
