Job Details:

* Position is approximately 0.6 FTE, working Monday through Friday (with flexibility for Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday schedule)
* Approximately 24 hours per week with workday hours varying based on hospital census
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No block schedules required
* Expected patient ratios of 1:5-10
* Approximately 5 visits per day with a daily census of 5
* Primary need is working inpatient therapy with potential float to other facilities based on facility need and therapist ability
* May float between units per unit needs
* Treats adults and geriatric patient populations
* Patient diagnoses include deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, impaired mobility, sepsis, COPD, CHF, PVD, and post-op cases including THA, hip fracture ORIF, TKA, shoulder, and spine
* Special equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara/Stedi lifts, parallel bars, therapy stairs, and stationary bike/NuStep
* Scrub color: any color
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, WA License
* Required skills include acute care, gait training, orthopedics, neurology, post-stroke rehabilitation, and various other therapeutic competencies

Facility:

This is a critical access hospital with 23 total staff beds serving a rural community. The facility features a collaborative therapy team consisting of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology professionals. Interdisciplinary support services include IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The facility uses Epic for charting and offers free parking.
