RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* Weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call responsibilities required
* 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
* Acute care setting with 2 operating rooms running 2 to 6 cases per day
* Common cases include CABGs, Robotic CABG and Lung, Valves, Fem POP, TAVRs, EVARs, and other vascular cases
* Responsibilities include circulating for CV and all other service lines
* No floating requirements to other departments
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs but is considered a plus
* PCAs available to assist with room cleaning and running for blood
* Charge nurses present on day and evening shifts
* Hospital scrubs provided
* Charting system: Epic (transitioning to Epic Gold EMR)
* BSN not required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)

This acute care facility operates a well-equipped surgical department featuring two operating rooms with a steady volume of 2 to 6 cases per day. The facility supports a wide range of service lines including cardiovascular and vascular surgery, with access to advanced robotic surgical capabilities. The organization provides a supportive team environment with charge nurses on day and evening shifts and PCAs available to assist clinical staff.
