Job Details:

* Self-scheduling with a patient ratio of 1:4 on all shifts
* Weekend coverage required at least every other weekend
* No on-call requirements
* 20 patient visits per day across 7 rooms/beds
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* May float as needed to Anderson County Hospital
* Treat patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting experience required
* Trauma Level IV experience required
* Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted
* Pending license accepted
* Scrub color: Navy
* Parking: Free
* Required skills: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage

This critical access hospital operates a 25-bed facility providing essential healthcare services to its community. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The emergency department serves a diverse patient population across all age groups, handling approximately 20 visits per day across its 7-bed unit.
