Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2100.80

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
* Work in an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
* No travel expected for this position
* Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
* Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
* Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up
* Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
* Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
* Make independent decisions regarding patient care
* Maintain accurate patient chart documentation including prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
* Be proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services
* Be familiar with PT billing policies and procedures including Medicare, work comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay
* Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of intended work
* Degree in Physical Therapy required
* Continuing education courses preferred
* Must be physically mobile, including stool sitting, walking, and prolonged standing for 8-10 hour workdays
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility, transferring, and walking safety
* Must comply with HIPAA policies and procedures
* Must comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations
