Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Unit

Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of stepdown experience required
* Proficiency in cardiac care required
* Travel experience required
* EKG comfortability required
* Must be willing to float to similar units
* Every other weekend schedule required
* On-call shifts possible
* Use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions
* Care for cardiology patients undergoing procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
* Provide post-operative care for open heart surgery patients (18-24 hours post-op)
* Specialize in care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
* Support national clinical trials managed by the NISUS research department
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
* Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
