Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2074.48

Opportunity:

RN - Medical/Surgical

Job Details:

* Work on a 28-bed Medical/Surgical unit (2nd Medical)
* Patient ratios of 5-6:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
* Unit support includes unit secretaries and 2-3 Patient Care Technicians on day shifts
* Schedule requires every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with flexible weekdays
* Floating policy is PRN, most often between Medical/Surgical units
* Must have strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
* Perform IV and foley catheter placement procedures
* Utilize equipment including Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
* Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
* Follow Patient Experience requirements including BSSR and Hourly Rounding
* Required certifications: BLS and NIH; CPI preferred
* Required dress code: Black or royal blue scrubs
