Opportunity:

Anesthesia Tech - Open Heart Surgery

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Support the anesthesia department by preparing and setting up appropriate equipment and supplies for each anesthetizing location
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
* Maintain a clean environment and manage supply levels
* Perform various technical duties involved in handling and delivering pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist
* Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
* Must also work 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician required
* High school diploma required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, Certified Anesthesia Technologist (ASATT)
* Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia required
* No local candidates within 50 miles considered
