Open Position: RN - Cardiac ICU Float Pool Adult Stepdown

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2463.52

Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical / Cardiac Telemetry / Stroke Neuro / Step-Down ICU / ICU

Job Details:

* Float between Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU units as needed
* ICU experience required with ability to float down to Medical Surgical when needed
* Extensive cardiac experience required
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
* Document according to standards of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating to the appropriate chain of command when necessary
* Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
* Required certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS
* Current Illinois (IL) nursing license required
