Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2934.60

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 10-hour shifts with variable start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 27-bed unit with high acuity inpatient PACU setting
* Recover high acuity patients including kidney transplant, craniotomy, transaortic valve replacement, spine surgery, and ICU patients
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* 2 years of inpatient experience required
* Level I Trauma Center experience required
* Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, and Pre-Post experience required
* High acuity PACU experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* ICU experience preferred (SICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU background preferred)
* Epic charting system experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CCRN, NIHSS
* Previous charge experience preferred
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* No pre-approved time off within the first two weeks of start

Facility:

This facility is a major academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center offering comprehensive specialty care across a wide range of disciplines. The PACU unit consists of 27 beds and supports high-acuity postoperative patients across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, transplant, cardiac, thoracic, and spine surgery. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services.
