Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts in a freestanding emergency department setting
* Day shift options include 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
* Night shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Rotating weekend schedule with 3 weekend shifts (Fridays and Saturdays) per 4-week schedule
* Holidays required
* No floating required
* Must have independent IV skills, EKG skills, and assessment skills
* Previous ER experience required
* Experience in a freestanding ED setting preferred
* Independent mixing of pharmacy drugs such as tPA and KCentra preferred
* Perform IVs, EKGs, and medication mixing
* Must scan medications for every patient and every medication administered
* Work with GE Monitors, Nursecall system, small ventilator, Baxter Pumps, and Zoll Defibrillators
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
* Scrub color: Navy or White
* Ideal candidate is a team player, outgoing, and able to work independently

This freestanding emergency department operates with 8 beds and a team of 23 registered nurses, providing emergency care in a focused and community-based setting. The facility is equipped with modern medical technology and follows structured staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care. The department emphasizes independent clinical skills and operates across both day and night shifts to provide around-the-clock emergency services.
