Job Details:
* Perform laboratory tests and quality control procedures under the direction of the laboratory manager
* Communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding laboratory results
* Work as a laboratory generalist with experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology
* Operate clinical laboratory instrumentation
* Work independently and provide direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants
* Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required
* One to three years of related experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology or formal student internship required
* Must be board eligible by NCA or ASCP and complete board certification within one year
* Certification as MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) required within one year
* Guaranteed hours of 40 per week
* Private housing is not provided - all housing are shared units
* No pets allowed
* Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and will be reimbursed upon arrival
