Open Position: RN - Hematology Oncology Outpatient

Opportunity:

Eastern Montana Outpatient Chemotherapy Infusion RN

Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday
* Minimum 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience required
* EPIC experience required
* ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required
* Work in the Infusion area of an Oncology Cancer Care unit
* Provide professional oncology nursing care in adherence to Cancer Care policies, nursing procedures, and standards
* Perform health history assessments and address physician orders
* Administer chemotherapy and manage cancer symptoms
* Conduct in-office procedures and provide patient and family education
* Monitor patients through frequent visits assessing both physical and emotional well-being
* Act as the primary point of communication between patients and physicians, relaying patient information and feedback
* Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues
* Support continued quality improvement objectives and maintain safety, environmental, and infection control standards
