RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Telemetry unit
* Patient ratios of 4:1 with cath recovery and 6:1 maximum ratio, with potential stretch to 7:1
* PCTs available on both day and night shifts; Unit Clerks available on day shift
* Every other weekend scheduling requirement
* Agency staff float first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg
* Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate
* Telemetry experience required
* Advanced knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training required
* Procedures performed on unit include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Equipment includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps
* Any scrubs except camouflage pattern required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
