Opportunity:
RN - Oncology/Women's Surgical
Job Details:
* Work on K9A Oncology/Women's Surgical unit located on the 9th floor
* Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
* 24-bed unit with a team of 42 staff members
* Typical procedures include occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis
* EMR system: Cerner
* Standard unit equipment utilized
* RN dress code: navy, white, or a combination of both colors
* CNAs dress code: Galaxy Blue
* Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
* Rare on-call requirements
* Team rarely floats, with floating limited to other med-surg units
* Required certifications: BLS and active RN license
* Chemo certification preferred
* Team players willing to learn are the best personality fit for this unit
