Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Pediatrics Blended Unit

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts in an acute care setting
* Care for patients on a 20-bed blended unit with an average census of approximately 11 patients
* Provide care for a mix of pediatric patients (8-10) and adult female patients (4-6) depending on RSV season
* Maintain a patient ratio of no more than 5 patients per RN depending on census and available staff
* Core staffing consists of 3 RNs per shift for the department
* Must be comfortable with adult patients as agency RN will be first to float if census is low
* Charting system is Allscripts with EPIC conversion beginning 3/21/2025 - must have EPIC experience within the past year
* Medication system is Acu-dose
* No RTO requests accepted between 3/21 and 4/18
* Cancellation policy: 3 shifts per 13-week or longer contract; 2 shifts per 12-week or shorter contract
* BSN not required
* Trauma Level 2 facility
* Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, PALS
