Opportunity:

RN - Sub-Acute

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts
* Every other weekend requirement
* 1 major holiday requirement per assignment
* No on-call or standby requirement
* First to float policy in effect
* Patient ratio of 1:7 with nurse aide support at 1:10 ratio
* 30-bed unit focused on sub-acute care
* Common patient diagnoses include brain injury and acute respiratory failure
* Minimum 6 months nursing experience in care of acute respiratory failure patients required
* Sub-acute or acute hospital experience required
* No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Charting system: Cerner
* BSN not required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue

This acute care facility operates a 30-bed sub-acute unit dedicated to providing specialized care for patients with complex medical needs, including brain injuries and acute respiratory conditions. The unit is supported by nurse aides and a charge nurse supervisor, ensuring a collaborative and well-structured care environment. The facility utilizes Cerner as its electronic charting system and maintains a structured orientation program for incoming staff.
