Opportunity:

RN - Sub-Acute

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
* 1 major holiday requirement per assignment
* No on-call or standby requirement
* No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
* First to float when needed
* Patient ratio of 1:7 with nurse aide support at 1:10 ratio
* 30-bed unit focused on sub-acute care
* Common diagnoses include brain injury and acute respiratory failure patients
* Minimum 6 months nursing experience in care of acute respiratory failure patients required in a sub-acute or acute hospital setting
* Charge nurse takes assignment on an as-needed basis
* No drip titration required
* Charting performed in Cerner system
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Unit-specific orientation provided
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)

The facility utilizes Cerner for electronic charting and maintains structured scheduling and staffing policies to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
