Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule
* Rotation of 6 shifts on and 8 shifts off
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday shifts required if the holiday falls within the rotation schedule
* No on-call or standby requirements
* 2-week orientation on day shift upon starting
* Perform orthopedic X-rays and fluoroscopy procedures
* Perform CT scans including abdominal/pelvis, cardiac scoring, trauma, and code stroke protocols
* Average of 24 X-ray studies and 24 CT scans per day
* Work with Carestream X-ray equipment and Toshiba CT machine
* Department has 1 X-ray room, 1 portable X-ray, and 1 CT machine
* Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed
* IVs not required during night shifts
* No procedures performed in this department
* Work independently as the sole technologist on night shifts
* Use EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), Certified CT Technologist, BLS Certification
* Must have CT experience and ability to work independently
* X-ray experience preferred
* No BSN required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a radiology department equipped with X-ray, portable X-ray, and CT imaging capabilities. The department handles a variety of imaging studies including orthopedic X-rays, fluoroscopy, and advanced CT protocols such as trauma and code stroke. The facility maintains a collaborative and welcoming work environment with a friendly team, including emergency medicine physicians who are actively engaged with support staff. Radiologists are available in-house during daytime hours on weekdays, with after-hours reads handled by a remote radiology group and Direct Radiology after 10:00 PM.
