Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Surgical/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Night shift position from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Work on a cardiac, surgical, and telemetry floor
* May float to other medical/surgical telemetry units or low-acuity ICU
* Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse across days, nights, and weekends
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit census of 28 patients with 32 beds and 32 rooms
* Patient diagnoses include cardiac and med/surg telemetry observation patients
* Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required within the last 18 months; must be clearly documented on profile
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active Tennessee or compact RN license required
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, tracheostomy care, wound care, and use of rapid response and code teams
