Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

* 8-hour day and evening shifts
* Typically day shift with possible mid shifts on Wednesdays when facility is open until 10:00 PM
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 2 years of infusion experience required (Pediatric and/or Adult)
* Teaching hospital experience required
* California RN license required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: APHON, AHA BLS
* Preferred certifications: PALS, CPHON
* Epic EMR experience required
* Experience working with Pediatric and Adult patients in an infusion center setting
* Treating a wide range of diagnoses including GI, Rheumatology, Oncology, Hematology, and BMT
* Required skills include accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, chemotherapy administration, central line blood draws, central line care, infusion pump management, phlebotomy, and PICC line care
* Preferred experience: BMT, Outpatient Oncology, and Pediatric Oncology
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This facility is a Pediatric and Adult Infusion Center that treats a wide range of diagnoses including GI, Rheumatology, Oncology, Hematology, and Bone Marrow Transplant patients. The center operates with 14 rooms and beds and sees approximately 24 patients per day. The facility is a teaching hospital that utilizes Epic EMR and provides interdisciplinary support for a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to adults.
