Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work in a 52-bed emergency department unit
* Average patient ratio of 3:1, with low acuity ratios of 5:1 and team nursing for pediatric patients
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
* Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
* Scan patients and medications every time as per unit expectations
* Work in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and quick learning
* Utilize Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card
* Travel experience or experience at large facility areas required
* ENPC certification preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Experience traveling to facilities larger than 52 beds preferred
