Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift hours Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* On-call every 3rd weekend Friday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 AM
* On-call for holidays as needed for coverage
* 30-minute call response time required
* Scrub, monitor, and circulate cases in 2 cath lab suites averaging 6 cases per day
* Cases include coronary procedures, IR procedures, and vascular procedures
* Must have scrub experience and general X-ray/pan knowledge
* Knowledge of IR and cardiac cases required
* EMR system: Cerner; Equipment: Merge
* Occasional floating for 1:1 sitter help may be required
* Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue required
* Completion of computer-based trainings in the first week and orientation binder sign-off required
* Must clock in and out at the facility
* Required certification: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred
* BSN not required
* Valid state license required for submission

This acute care facility operates a Cath Lab department with 2 suites handling an average of 6 cases per day, focusing on coronary, IR, and vascular procedures. The department utilizes Cerner and Merge systems and is supported by cardiologist on-call coverage during evenings and weekends. The facility maintains a structured orientation process and provides scrubs to all clinical staff.
