Job Details:

* 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week; facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment
* Weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating within scope not required
* Block scheduling not available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level II or III experience required
* Triage experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Cerner; any charting system experience accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB or CPI, NIHSS, TNCC, CCRN
* Required skills: Management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions and PPE, triage, and Trauma Level II or III experience
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Department sees approximately 270-300 patients per day across 72 beds, all monitored except fast track
* Interdisciplinary support available including phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretary
* Scrub color: No specific color required; camouflage and character patterns are not permitted
* Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
* Parking is free
