Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* 1 weekend shift required per 4-week schedule period
* Up to 4 on-call shifts required per 4-week schedule period
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Experience highly preferred in Neuro (spines/craniotomy), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases
* Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
* First-time travelers accepted
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Scrub color provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU/GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven environment that provides cutting-edge technology to the surrounding community.
