Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Opportunity:

New Outpatient PT

Job Details:

* Outpatient physical therapy position treating adult patient population
* Ortho experience preferred
* New graduates welcome with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
* See up to 12 patient visits per day
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 24 orientation hours provided
* Charting system experience required; Cerner utilized
* Required certifications: BLS, Maryland License (Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand at submission)
* Treat patients with outpatient orthopedic diagnoses including low back pain, total hip and knee replacements, post-op surgical cases, spinal conditions, and sports medicine injuries
* Required skills include evaluation, plan of care development, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques including spinal and extremity mobilization, myofascial release, cervical and lumbar traction, and modalities such as ultrasound, e-stim, moist heat, and cryotherapy
* Must be comfortable with gait training, assistive devices, home exercise program development, patient and family education, and reassessments
* Must be willing to float within scope of practice
* Two supervisor references required
* Candidates must be nicotine-free
