Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week available as an option
* Progressive Care Unit with 36 beds
* Patient ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 AM or 1:4 PM, 1:5 PM with patient care techs
* Unit typically operates as total RN-based care with secretaries scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every 3rd weekend rotation required
* Rotating holiday schedule
* Float to Telemetry Unit as needed
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required equipment experience: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills required
* Experience managing vasoactive drips required
* Perform central line or PICC line placement and chest tube placements
* Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
* Required dress code: Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms; black or charcoal grey jackets with option to order unit-specific jackets
