Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Step-Down

Job Details:

* Work 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Block scheduling requests will be discussed and considered
* Typically work every third weekend and cover one holiday, though scheduling is subject to change based on census and staffing needs
* No routine on-call required, though RN may occasionally be asked to take call during periods of fluctuating census or staffing
* Float to other units as needed during low census or staffing shortages
* Minimum of 3 years of cardiac step-down experience required, including Heart Cath recovery, management of cardiac drips, post-operative open-heart patients, and cardiac/medical-surgical step-down populations
* Experience with open-heart patients required
* Experience with Epic EMR required
* Must be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed, though ventilated patients are not typically admitted to this unit
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
