Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2694.60

Opportunity:

Operating Room - CVOR Tech 10HR - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 10-hour shifts
* Monday through Friday schedule with one varying off day
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Must work Christmas week
* On-call required 2-3 times per week
* At least 1 weekend per month required (24 hours - Saturday and Sunday)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Cases include Adults, Adolescents, and Geriatrics - General and Neuro Surgery
* Cardiovascular cases preferred
* Scrub experience required
* Facility operates 12 ORs
* Block schedule accommodation available
* Maximum 1 request for time off
* Will not float within scope to meet facility needs
* No floating to sister facilities
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT not accepted)
* Key skills include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Aseptic Technique, Sharps Safety, Universal Protocol, and Specimen Handling/Labeling
* Nicotine-free candidates only - facility tests for nicotine and cotinine

Facility:

This is an acute care hospital with 178 staffed beds offering a range of surgical services including cardiovascular, general, and neuro surgery cases. The facility features 12 operating rooms and utilizes Cerner for charting. Free parking is available in the South Parking Garage, and scrubs are provided to clinical staff.
