Opportunity:

Pharmacy Technician

Job Details:

* Variable shift schedule working 4x10 hour shifts with day/evening rotating hours
* Facility operates between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
* Set days of the week are negotiable
* Must have EPIC experience
* Minimum 3 years of hospital experience required with IV compounding experience
* State Pharmacy Technician license required in state of practice
* Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification preferred
* Pull medications from stock and match medications with corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist
* Fill and deliver unit dose cassettes from patient profiles to nursing units
* Maintain floor stock including restocking, removal of expired medications, and stock rotation in nursing and medication areas
* Prepare IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations
* Check in orders from wholesaler and suppliers and distribute stock appropriately
* Process returns and back orders in a timely manner
* Price and stock incoming deliveries
* Perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to furnishing of drugs under direct supervision of a pharmacist
