Job Details:

* Night shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* Call required as needed
* Vaginal delivery experience required
* Cesarean section experience required
* Scrub experience preferred
* EPIC electronic health records experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required, obstetrics experience preferred
* Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required
* Assist in preparation of patient rooms and set up for procedures using aseptic technique
* Assist surgical team during operative procedures by providing needed supplies and instruments
* Participate in timeout on each case
* Assist nursing staff during deliveries including preparation, positioning, transports, transfers, and discharge of patients
* Collect urinalysis specimens and record maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake and output measurements
* Perform personal care services and assist with activities of daily living for patients
* General unit tasks include turning rooms over, stocking, assembling charts, answering phones, responding to call lights, taking vital signs, and updating census logs
