Opportunity:

Interventional Cardiology Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Position requires floating to the Ballard clinic every Tuesday
* 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an adult outpatient clinic setting is required
* Cardiology experience is required
* Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) preferred; Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) will also be considered
* Required skills include vital signs (height/weight, pulse oximetry, obtain vital signs, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG), exam preparation (record history, medications, and allergies), office duties (authorization forms, chart preparation, insurance verification, pharmacy calls and patient refill requests, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, telephone triage), and professional skills (review lab tests, rooming patients)
* Strong preference for candidates with experience using Microsoft Excel
* Charting system: EPIC experience required
* Scrub color: TBD
* Required certification: BLS
* Required license: Medical Assistant (MA) License
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Open to both local and non-local candidates
