Opportunity:

RN Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 48-hour contract facility request
* Unit: Neuroscience and Epilepsy (620), located on floors 8E East and 8E South
* 29-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5
* Care for neuro patients including TIA, stroke, epilepsy, and ictal SPECT cases
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period
* No on-call responsibilities
* Float to all acute care areas including med surg, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedics
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS
* Strong time management skills required
* Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs

This healthcare facility features a dedicated Neuroscience and Epilepsy unit providing specialized care across two floors. The unit operates with a structured team of registered nurses and patient care technicians across both day and night shifts, maintaining consistent patient ratios to ensure high-quality care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and supports a wide range of acute care services across multiple specialized units.
