Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work in the OR Surgery unit with flexible scheduling options of either 4 10-hour shifts or 3 12-hour shifts per week
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* One late night shift required per week
* One 8-hour Saturday shift required every 4th week
* One 8-hour on-call shift per month required on Saturday or Sunday with a 30-minute response time
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Experience working with DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI) and Mako equipment preferred
* Orthopedic, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred
* Prior Meditech/CPN EMR experience preferred
* Perform or assist with procedures including orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci procedures
* Strong patient care focus and communication skills with staff and providers required

Facility:

This medical center operates a 28-bed OR Surgery unit staffed by a team of travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. The facility features state-of-the-art technology including DaVinci Robotics (SI and XI models) and Mako robotic systems, and utilizes Meditech/CPN as its electronic medical records platform. The unit supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties and places a strong emphasis on experienced, communicative staff who prioritize exceptional patient care.
