Opportunity:

Ultrasound Technologist

Job Details:

* Thursday through Saturday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with call responsibilities
* Weekend requirement on a sometimes basis
* Holiday rotation required
* On-call and standby requirements included
* Perform all general ultrasound exams including Paracentesis/Thoracentesis biopsies and vascular exams
* Average of 8 to 16 scans and studies per day
* Work within a department of 3 scanning rooms
* Use Phillips EPIQ equipment for imaging studies
* Chart using Cerner EMR and PACS system
* May be required to float or cover other areas on occasion
* Radiologist available in-house
* Work under a Radiology Supervisor
* Scrubs not currently provided by facility
* Cancellation policy of 4 shifts per contract or 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS, RDMS, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN)
* Vascular Technology (RVT) certification preferred
* BSN not required
* Active license required for submission
