Job Details:

* Work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare team members to plan and implement patient and family education
* Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
* Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situations
* Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care
* Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in the conduct of nursing practice
* Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice
* Comply with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
* Participate in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
* Participate in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
* Position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
* On-call work may be required
* Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
* Required certifications: NIH Stroke Scale Certification, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS
* Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure required
* Pediatric experience preferred
