Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
* On-call requirements include a minimum of 1 weekday and 1 full weekend per month, with the possibility of more based on staffing needs
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements apply
* Mandatory call/standby requirement is in place
* Work in a 12-suite CVOR handling approximately 20 cases per day
* Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplants, robotics (thoracic and cardiac), peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO
* Minimum 3 years of CVOR circulating experience required
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs, but scrub experience is preferred
* OR techs available on unit
* Charting completed using Epic EMR
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Unit/department-specific orientation provided
* No floating requirements
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* High acuity environment requiring highly skilled, experienced staff able to circulate in a fast-paced, complex setting
* Must be able to apply general CVOR knowledge to work with approximately 25 surgeons who work regularly in the OR

Facility:

This facility is home to a nationally recognized cardiovascular and thoracic program operating across 12 CVOR suites with approximately 20 cases per day. The department provides 24/7 in-house coverage and supports a broad range of complex surgical procedures performed by a large team of approximately 25 surgeons. The program emphasizes high acuity care and maintains a fast-paced, complex environment supported by experienced, highly skilled staff.
