Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule with days varying week to week based on staffing needs
* On-call required 3-4 shifts per month; weeknight call shifts are overnight and weekend call shifts are 24 hours
* Work across 14 OR rooms in Main OR and 4 rooms in the connected Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
* Scrub experience preferred
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: fire safety, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedure, wound management, and a wide range of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, thoracic, gynecological, urological, neurological, vascular, plastics, ENT, podiatry, trauma, and robotic surgery
* Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and Da Vinci SP Surgical System preferred
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care facility operates a 325-staffed-bed hospital with an 18-room surgical suite, including a 14-room Main OR and a 4-room Ambulatory Surgery Center connected to the main hospital. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a broad range of surgical specialties, offering a dynamic and well-equipped environment for OR nursing professionals. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides interdisciplinary support across multiple surgical service lines.
