Opportunity:

Echocardiography - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Work in an inpatient and outpatient adult echo lab performing TTE, TEE, SEC, and structural procedures
* Perform skills including 2D Echo, 3D Echo, Color Doppler, Diastology, Bubble Studies, LV Strain/LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, and scanning complex anomalies and post-surgical repairs
* Use Definity for echo contrast procedures
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of approximately 6 patients
* Charting performed in Epic (Excellian) - Epic experience is required
* Required certifications: ARDMS RDCS AE, BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS
* Scrub color required: Gray
* Participate in monthly echo education sessions offering 1 CME per session
* Interpretation services available as interdisciplinary support

This acute care teaching hospital is a Level 3 trauma center with 317 staffed beds. The facility operates a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient adult echo lab and offers a robust support structure including interpretation services. The organization is committed to ongoing education, providing monthly echo education sessions that offer continuing medical education credits to clinical staff.
