RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU unit with 15 beds
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Night shift team includes Intensivist, RN, and Respiratory Therapist
* Work with general cardiac/respiratory monitoring equipment
* Utilize Meditech/CPN electronic medical records system
* Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
* Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and PALS
* CRRT experience preferred
* APHON certification preferred
* Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred

This facility is a Level II Trauma center housing a dedicated Pediatric ICU with 15 beds and a staff of 38 healthcare professionals. The unit operates with a multidisciplinary team approach, including intensivists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management.
