Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

CT Tech Needed

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 13-week contract assignment
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT(CT) and BLS
* Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
* Patient population includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Approximately 20 patient visits per day across 2 CT rooms
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, vascular, musculoskeletal, and cardiac imaging
* Proficiency with 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurement (ROI)
* Preparation and administration of contrast media required
* Participation in biopsy and aspiration procedures
* Operate Philips iSite/Intellispace PACS system
* Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture skills required
* Radiation safety knowledge required
* Candidates may be required to float within the facility as needed
* Two professional references completed within two years required, from someone in a supervisory capacity
* Valid state or compact license required

This facility is a 100-bed community hospital offering a comprehensive range of imaging and diagnostic services. The CT department is supported by an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretarial staff. The facility utilizes advanced imaging technology and maintains a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care across a broad spectrum of medical needs.
