Job Details:

* Night shift position working 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules
* No block scheduling or special scheduling requests accommodated - staffing based on department needs
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering care in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience required, with 3 or more years preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Recent EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
