Opportunity:

Radiology Technologist - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers
* Perform fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
* Perform ultrasound-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis alongside radiology providers
* Perform C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as requested by surgeons
* Assist radiology nursing with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements
* Provide imaging services to NICU, CCU, and ED including trauma and portable radiography
* Complete documentation required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
* Educate radiography students, new hires, and radiology techs on relevant diagnostic and operative guidance exams
* Perform patient education for prep and post care of radiology procedures
* Work varied shifts as scheduled including weekends and after-hours shifts
* On-call availability may be required
* Extended hours may be required with shifts of eight or more hours daily
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
* Must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
* Minimum 1 year of previous radiology experience required (may include clinical internship experience)
* Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent required
* Montana Radiology Technologist licensure required
* American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification required
* American Heart Association BLS certification required
* Must demonstrate competency in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopic/C-Arm within 6 months
