Job Details:

* Multiple shifts available with shift start times to be confirmed by leader during interview
* Full-time position
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with most recent experience in an ED - Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma setting
* Care for a wide range of patients including clinic type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all ED cases
* Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Complete all annual competency verification requirements
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC
* Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state required
