Job Details:

* 5 x 8-hour day shifts per week
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* Local candidates only; role is temporary to permanent
* Minimum 6 months of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* MA-C certification required (MA-R not accepted)
* BLS certification required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Reliable personal transportation required
* Responsibilities include rooming patients, prepping charts, answering patient questions via phone and MyChart, and processing patient paperwork
* Skills required include adult outpatient clinic experience, healthcare terminology, vital signs, recording patient history/medications/allergies, venipuncture, blood glucose via glucometer, telephone triage, suture removal, and pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
* May be required to float within skillset to meet facility needs
* Position is within an outpatient cardiology setting

This outpatient cardiology facility provides specialized cardiovascular care in an ambulatory setting.
