RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed is an option
* Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
* Day and night shift RN positions available with 7 RNs per day/night shift and 5 mid-shift RNs
* Day shift: 7 days; Night shift: 7 nights
* Must meet weekend and holiday requirements: 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule, 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
* Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech
* Typical procedures include port placement and chest tubes
* Floating may be required to Brookside ED
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills; CPI preferred
* Preferred qualities include being a team player with strong time management skills
* Ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, positive, and coachable

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a comprehensive emergency department with 38 beds spread across three distinct care areas, including a specialized psych-safe area. The emergency department is staffed around the clock with dedicated day, mid, and night shift teams to ensure continuous high-quality patient care. The facility utilizes advanced medical equipment and modern technology to support a wide range of emergency procedures and treatments.
